The Refereeing Commission of European Judo Union announced the list of referees that will work at the Euro-2012 in Chelyabinsk – the best judges of the continental Union will serve not only in the South Ural region, but at the London Olympics as well.

Vladimir Vostrikov
There are two Russians judges of the highest Olympic Category among 28 referees - Vladimir Vostrikov (Krasnoyarsk), and Vasyly Smolin (Vladimir). There are also two representatives from each country – Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands. One by one from Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, Great Britain, Georgia, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey and Ukraine.

Vasyly Smolin
The European Judo Championship in Chelyabinsk will be the last ranking tournament before the Olympics. The “gold” at the Euro-2012 will bring its winner 180 qualifying points, “silver” – 108, “bronze” – 72 points.
A single referee of the international category "A" (Olympic) in South Ural is Alexander Perevoznikov, now he is taking an active part in preparations for the competition. During all four days of the Euro-2012, he will assist his colleagues.
